Kamla Devi
Kamla Devi faced hardship after her divorce, earning barely enough from menial jobs. Determined to support her family, she sought assistance from the AU Foundation, starting her own fruit stall. Financial struggles burdened her family until the AU Udyogini Project helped her last year. Starting an handicraft shop transformed her life by earning her Rs 10,000 monthly. She expressed her utmost happiness by sharing that she can now send her daughter to pursue banking studies in Jaipur.

Babli Devi, Viratnagar
Few years ago, she started by sewing on a secondhand machine. Working as an AU Udyogini since 2021, her work has vastly improved resulting in a monthly income of Rs 15,000. With a new machine, she handles more orders and send her children to an English medium school.
