Social Development Programmes

AU Foundation is all set to make this nation a place where dreams are fulfilled whilst ensuring a sustainable livelihood. Sports, being a significant aspect of life offer various benefits to one’s lifestyle. Keeping this in mind, we have introduced sports in elementary education and as a way of teaching skill development after understanding what a crucial role a healthy life plays in his/her life. We inform children and their families about the various reform programs launched for the betterment of their life. We are constantly aiming towards a stronger and more developed nation through our efforts!

SUPPORT FOR DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIALLY ABLED CHILDREN

On October 8th, as a part of Daan Utsav 2018, we inaugurated a special classroom in the Public School of Niwaru. Dedicated to catering to the specially-abled children, this classroom has a number of physically or mentally challenged students under its aegis. In this classroom, special care and training is given to them to overcome their challenges. One of the prime focuses of this classroom is also to prepare these children to lead a normal life. AU Foundation has helped equip this classroom with specially designed toys that double-up as innovative tools of learning for the students. They help strike a balance in learning things while keeping it fun and active.

        WIsh Tree Drive

On October 5th, as a part of Daan Utsav 2018, we fulfilled the wishes of around 100 girls of the Praveen Lata Sansthan, an NGO that works for the development of underprivileged girls. We asked these girls to write down their wishes on bits of paper. Some wished for a new dress, some for new shoes, some for books, while some for dolls and toys. These wishes were put up on ornamental ‘Wish Trees’ which were then installed at AU Bank’s offices across Jaipur. Tremendous participation from the employees made it possible to fulfill all of these wishes. Later, on the occasion of International Day of the Girl Child (October 11th), the gifts were distributed among the girls by AU Bank’s First Lady Mrs. Jyoti Agarwal along with Mrs. Shweta Jain.

                WATER COOLER & PURIFIER INSTALLATION

The weather in Rajasthan during summers is as unforgiving as it gets. With temperatures rising above 45 degrees, a source of clean potable cold water in a place easily accessible to everyone is certainly a source of great relief. In a world where even water in being sold by the bottle, we are trying to bring the much needed relief to people by installing water coolers and purifiers in various locations of Rajasthan. Since the inception of our initiative, we’ve have managed to install more than 100 water coolers across Rajasthan and have touched millions of people.
